I appoint the members of the two person committee; Kim Bailey and Henry Kimbell to do
and execute all that may be necessary in order that Racing for Maggie’s Partnership horses
shall be entered in races so as to run for the aforementioned partnership. I also specifically
acknowledge that the legal ownership of such horses shall be vested in the members of the
committee who shall manage the same and any proceeds of sale from them for benefit and
for that of all other paid up members of the Racing for Maggie’s Partnership according to
our respective entitlements as tenants in common in undivided shares. Accordingly I
specifically authorise the members of the committee to represent jurisdiction that they, the
members of the committee, are the legal owners of the Racing for Maggie’s Partnership.
20% of the prize money generated by both horses and the same again of their re-sale value
at the end of the agreement will be donated to Maggie’s – Charity Number SC024414.
I confirm that I am not a disqualified person under the Rules of Racing and I agree to
purchase a share in the aforementioned partnership in conjunction with the terms and
conditions as set out on page 4.

Terms and conditions

The Racing for Maggie’s Partnership shall run from 1 st July 2016 to 31st May 2018
A maximum of twenty five shares are available
The management committee of Kim Bailey (KB) and Henry Kimbell (HK) will
procure sponsorship for all Partnership horses in respect of their activities
Therefore VAT will be reclaimed under the regulations advised by the British Horse
Racing Authority (BHA) and no VAT will be payable on any share
A capped administration fee of £50 per shareholder per season will be charged by
HK as management fee for coordinating the partnership
Owners will receive regular email and phone call updates about the running plans
and welfare of their horses
At the conclusion of the partnership duration both Another Venture and Biscuit
will be sold in May 2018 with the proceeds being divided up equally between the
shareholders.
This will be a net return after 20% of the cumulative prize money and sale price of
both horses has been donated, as per the agreement, to Maggie’s.
In the event of the Partnership wishing to retain one or both horses at the
conclusion of the agreement, this will only be permissible following a vote by
members, the result of which must be unanimous.
Maggie’s Charity is purely a third party to this agreement and has no responsibility
– financial or otherwise – to the outcome of this venture
Due to the increasing prohibitive cost of insurance, the management committee
have decided not to insure the horses against mortality. However if you would like
