Rock the Presidents
Exploring the Splendors of the Desert…
Opus Cactus is back with a new look, fresh energy, and
fun surprises! Moses Pendleton brings the landscape
of the American Southwest to life with his signature
illusionistic style creating dynamic images of cactuses,
slithering lizards and fire dancers.
Rock the Presidents is a high octane, multi-media-filled
musical revue spanning 223 years of the American presidency – from George Washington to Barack Obama. The
44 men who rose to the highest office in the land are
brought to life through all-new rock, pop, and folk music. Audiences young and old alike will learn something
new about our Presidents, while perhaps seeing something of themselves reflected in the stories on stage.
With songs like “The Sons of Washington,” a driving rock
anthem honoring Washington’s revolutionary idea of
peacefully giving up power, and the jazz-inspired “Who
In the World is Millard Fillmore?” celebrating some of
the lesser-known Commanders in Chief, Rock the Presidents is sure to entertain and inform audiences of all

Erth’s DINOSAUR ZOO Live™ takes us on a tour through prehistoric Australia, bringing an eye-popping array of ancient
creatures to life on stage. We observe and interact with extraordinarily life-like creatures, just like those that inhabited
the Southern Hemisphere millions of years ago. And, we meet a menagerie of insects, mammals and dinosaurs in their
ancient environment. From the sweetly curious baby Dryosaur, to the peaceful hulk Titanosaur, and even the teethgnashing T-rex — Erth’s DINOSAUR ZOO Live™ is a unique interactive theater performance. Erth’s large-scale puppets
were developed in consultation with paleontologists, based on current science and interpretations of fossil evidence.

Mufaro’s Beautiful Daughters
Meet Danny Carmo. It’s not so long ago that he thought
school and, in particular, math wasn’t for him. He was
more interested in dreaming about a future on the
stage —all he ever wanted to be was a famous magician! When he knuckleddown to learn all the tricks of
the trade he realized that math was not only essential…
but was the SECRET to a whole load of magic!!!
In Mufaro’s Beautiful Daughters, an African folktale, a
king picks his bride by watching how two sisters, Manyara
and Nyasha, handle challenges on the journey to his palace that illuminate how beautiful or ugly each is on the
inside.
Black Violin
A Year with Frog and Toad
Black Violin is the blend of classical, hip-hop, rock, R&B,
and bluegrass music. Live, they are accompanied by their
incredible band, featuring ace turntable whiz DJSPS and
a drummer. Named one of the hottest bands at SXSW in
2013, Black Violin was invited to perform at Bonnaroo and
returned to SXSW recently to SRO crowds.
A hit on Broadway, A Year With Frog And Toad was nominated for 3 Tony Awards - including Best Musical. Based on
Arnold Lobel’s well-loved books and featuring a hummable
score by Robert and Willie Reale, this whimsical show follows two great friends -- the cheerful, popular Frog and the
rather grumpy Toad -- through four, fun-filled seasons.

explores the fundamentals of electrical energy and the
history of humanity’s adventures into its potential. At the
dawn of the 19th century mankind first harnessed the
power of electricity, the world changed and the journey
still continues. As only he can, Dr. Kaboom will talk about
safety; Tesla; Edison; Faraday; lightning bolts, current;
voltage; conductive and non-conductive media; electrical
arcs; light emission; sparks; resistance; magnetic fields,
electric generators: mechanical energy to electrical energy; electromagnetic coils and conductors.

When kids play MoneyIsland, they enter a virtual world that not only
makes learning fun, but also tracks and encourages their progress. As they
go on quests to fantastic destinations like the Eiffel Tower and Atlantis,

Currently, 45% of high school seniors say they are not ready to manage
their money. Even among adults, financial literacy is at an all-time low in
the United States. Our standard curriculum, for youths from 8 to 14, is designed to change
that.
MoneyIsland provides invaluable life lessons that better prepare future generations. Aligned with national
standards published by the Jump$tart Coalition® for Personal Financial Literacy, the MoneyIsland curriculum
builds skills in three basic areas: Saving & Spending, Earning & Investing, and Using Credit Wisely.

Student Matinee Ticket Information
For orders of less than 10: Tickets can be purchased in advance of the shows at the Alberta Bair Theater Box
Office in person, or by phone at (406) 256-6052, Monday through Saturday, 12:00 Noon to 5:00 p.m. Seating is general
admission in a designated area of the theater. There are no refunds unless a performance is canceled or postponed.
If available, tickets can also be purchased on the day of the performance, 30 minutes prior to each performance.
For Orders of 10 or more*: Please fill out the order form on the next page and follow instructions below.
1) Be sure to indicate the method of payment, transportation and special needs. Incomplete order forms will not
be processed. Ticket prices are the same for teachers, chaperones and students.
2) Payment is due NO LATER that two weeks before the show. We DO NOT accept cash.

Changes & Cancelations
1)
Extra seats: additional seat requests will be accommodated whenever possible.
2)
Refund/Cancelation Policy: all sales are final once payment or purchase order is received. No refunds or
exchanges will be given unless a performance is canceled or postponed by the ABT or schools are closed
due to inclement weather.
Buses
1) Instructions will be emailed to your school’s contact person approximately two weeks prior to the show.
We use three different entrances for our school shows. Your school will be given a specific entrance to
drop off and pick up students. Please make sure the bus drivers receive this information.
2) Name of school: Buses must have a sign in the side window with the name of the school and the number
(name of school #1, name of school #2, etc.) if sending more than one bus. Bus parking is available east
of the theater on 4th Avenue North past North 25th Street, or on South 27th Street, south of Minnesota
Avenue, four blocks south of the theater.
