A Visit to Humayun’s Tomb A group comprising 26 Indian citizens, 24 visitors from SAARC countries, 19 other foreign visitors and 10 students below 15 years of age, visit Humayun’s Tomb on April 25, 2017. SCIENCE Utilise your summer break by making your own Rain Gauge. Material required:Take any two litre bottle of fizzy drink, two packets of modelling clay, scissors, and plastic scale. Steps Step 1: Cut the bottle 3/4 from the bottom. Step 2:For rain gauge it is important that the bottom should be flat. Thus put the balls of modelling clay in the bottom to make the bottom flat. Step 3: Now put the second part of the bottle upside down on the opening of the bigger part of the bottle. Step 4: Paste a scale made on cardboard on the outer side of the bottle to measure the rain in mm or you can paste plastic scale too. Step 5: Now place it in the centre of your garden. Enjoy this activity and record your observation in a tabular form on an A-4 sheet.
