POSTAL PATRON
Mission Statement and Staff
Mission Statement: To serve the citizens of USD 263 by providing quality,
affordable recreation programs that invite participation, build relationships, and enhance lives.
Celebrate with us! (from front cover)
We are excited to celebrate ten years in our East Mulvane
location! While MRC is almost 60 years old (2018), it wasn’t until 2006 when MRC hired the first full time Director.
In late February of 2007 we opened for business in our current location.
In 10 years we have increased our fitness classes by 1200%,
added youth and adult sports, after school program, enrichment programs, created and reworked our fitness center, cobuilt a new space with USD 263, and doubled our core staff.
Currently we have three full time employees, 40 part time
employees and 150 seasonal employees.
Of course, none of this would be possible without our amazing Mulvane citizens who patronize us! We continue to
grow and are planning ahead for future programs and services that would benefit our community. Thank you for
your continued support!
Sincerely,
Ticia Herd
