We will be working on short “i” words.
These are words where the “i” makes the “short”
sound as in “big.” Our next two word families
consist of words that end with –ip and -ig.

Practice writing their first name.

Practice saying and singing the alphabet and counting to 60.

Practice recognizing letters, rhyming, beginning and ending sounds, blending/segmenting onset and rime, syllables, and blending phonemes!

Practice writing and recognizing 0-20, adding to 10, counting by tens to 100, comparing numbers between 0-10, sorting, and identifying shapes!

Please label everything including your child’s snack.

