Part I: Five Easy Steps to Create an Authentic Brand
Our work routinely challenges us to find faster and better ways of doing things—to
reinvent and re-think. Yet the speed of business pushes leaders to maintain a pace
that may be exhilarating one day and exhausting the next. Leaders who move too fast
risk missing important pieces of data that inform solid decision making. Self-aware
leaders slow themselves down in order to speed themselves up. They recognize
patterns around them to increase momentum and productivity. This interactive
session presents practical and relevant disciplines based on research of more than 700
leaders. The session highlights four proven pillars, touching on factors as diverse as
critical thinking proficiency to a commitment to generosity that might just change the
way you approach your work, your team and the business.
Storytelling isn’t just for kids. Used to influence, persuade, motivate and inspire, telling
a compelling story is an essential business tool in your personal and professional
arsenal. And fortunately, it is a skill that can be learned. Stories inspire us and serve as
the emotional glue that makes a meaningful connection between your objective and
the audience you want to influence. Our session will provide a deeper understanding
of the elements of a story and will give you insights about why it is such a vital tool.
Far too many people are too busy, and too few are ultimately fulfilled. How often do
you step away from your daily routine to check on the direction you are heading? Join
us for some fun. In this two-part workshop, you will have the opportunity to step out
of your day-to-day and step up to a new view. In PART I you will get creative, drawing
on the strengths, talents and passions you bring to the table. You will discover your
unique key words, power tags and value. In PART II you will craft your mission and
vision, learning how to wrap it all together to create a powerful plan to hold yourself
accountable to your dreams. You will be working with other women who will
challenge your thinking. Who knows? They may become your new partners in this
quest for an even more fulfilled life.
