BE A CHAMPION FOR THE WONDER OF LEARNING EXHIBIT The Wonder of Learning Exhibit will shape the history of early care and learning in the province. By engaging early childhood educators, families, and policy makers with ideas and examples about the potential of young children as powerful, capable producers of culture and learning the profile of early childhood educators will be promoted. The more awareness we build for this exhibit from Reggio Emilia, Italy the greater our impact will be. We need everyone to start spreading the word as "champions" for The Wonder of Learning exhibit. Be a Wonder of Learning "champion" by doing three simple things NOW: (1) SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THE EXHIBIT ITSELF Build a "buzz" about the exhibit now: spread the word that the exhibit will be at the River Market, New Westminster Quay from July 17 to December 8, 2012. The Quay has many other attractions - restaurants, river walk, museum, river gazing - that will interest everyone, making it a great day trip for families all summer long. The Quay is steps away from the Skytrain and is easy to get to from communities throughout the Lower Mainland. (2) TELL EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS ABOUT PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS Add the exciting opening week events to your calendar. July 17 you will have an opportunity to meet and hear Carla Rinaldi speak while enjoying dinner with colleagues. Carla is a professor of education in Reggio Emilia and is a leading spokesperson for the Reggio Approach.
