(65 MPH). Get onto Rt. 43. You will stay on this road (25-30 miles) until you turn right onto the

Football and Baseball
From Oakmont/Verona, travel south on 28 toward Pittsburgh. Get on 579 to the Liberty Bridge, through
the bridge and follow 51 South. Cross the Elizabeth Bridge and continue traveling south until you see a
Gulf Gas Station on the left. There will be a ramp on the right to Route 136. Take the ramp and go to
the stop sign. Turn right onto Route 906 South. Follow 906 into the City of Monessen. The road will
make a wide bend right and then left and you will see a Chrysler garage on the right. Turn left at the
Chrysler garage. Go to the traffic light and then proceed straight onto the four lane highway. Proceed
to the top of the hill until you come to a “t” intersection where you will bear right. Continue going
straight to the next stop sign. This will be a 5 way intersection with a fire station on the right side. Take
the second street counting around from the right and go down the hill. Turn left into the parking lot.
The entrance is around back by the flag pole. Memorial Stadium is alongside of Monessen Elementary
Center – the Baseball Field is behind the stadium.

From Oakmont/Verona, take the Hulton Bridge to Rt. 28 South. Take the Etna exit. Immediately get
into the left lane. Go through the first light and over the tracks. Make a right turn on to Butler Street
and proceed straight (this street will eventually turn into Mt. Royal Blvd.) to Mt. Royal Blvd. Go through
the next two traffic lights. After the second light, count three streets and turn left on to Scott Avenue.

in the left lane after exiting and go to the red light immediately past “WTAE Channel 4”. At the red light
make a left onto Brinton Road and follow until you come to the “T” in the road. Make a left and follow
to the top of the hill to a 4-way intersection. Make a right onto Columbia Avenue at the intersection and
then follow Columbia Avenue thru 2 stop signs. After the second stop sign go straight about ¼ mile to
Evans Avenue on your left. Make the left at Evans Avenue and the school sits back in the cul-de-sac.
