SAND
We inventory a wide range of sand, for a variety of applications. Each serves
as an excellent filter or support media for a mixed media filter system.
Filter sand consists of hard, durable, and dense grains of predominantly
siliceous material that will resist degradation during handling and use.
Precision sizing and uniform grading to close limits meet the rigid specifications
of professional engineers throughout the world. The sand is low in soluble
impurities and it will maintain the quality of the treated water, especially in
softeners.
The sand we sell meets AWWA B100-96 specifications and is ANSI/NSF
standard 61 certified.
