In exchange for full pardon, Niels flies 4 scientists to a Black Hole. Sure, there's the whole Relativity mess... The trip will last 6 weeks but a 100 years will have gone by when they return to earth. But Niels isn't afraid of Relativity, simply... because he doesn't believe in it. Only when an accident hurls them 10 000 light years away, does he accept the incredible truth: he's stuck with 4 scientists he knows nothing about, 20 000 years from earth... Somewhere in the Big Everything. And there will be no cheating his way out this time. A word from the director Christophe Colomb, Magellan, Neil Armstrong have all risked their lives for the terrifying thrill of discovery. To see what no one has seen, do what no one has done. This calling of mankind has dwindled since we've known every inch of our earth and solar system. The unknown is gone, and we miss it. This taste for exploration is what drove me to dare the impossible : an indie french sci-fi movie with groundbreaking visuals. It is not as glorious as the discovery of a new continent, but it is more exceptional. Sure, me and my team didn't risk our lives, but we risked our health, social life and money… With a budget that was as limited as our ambitions were limitless, we have worked tirelessly for 4 years, with the help of many companions met along the way, to share with the audience, the intoxicating taste of the unknown, of exploration, of the impossible. Jules Verne, Georges Méliès, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, have produced some of the most remarkable science-fiction pieces in the world. Cyrano de Bergerac is unanimously considered as the inventor of Science Fiction. Yet, today, associating “Science-Fiction” and “French Cinema” may sound like a joke. But it is neither absurd nor blasphemous to give a french angle to the most successful genre in the world. We simply need to shed preconceived ideas. So… I imagined the inevitable encounter between us and our Universe, what will remain of us, what will change. With the certainty that immensity will not destroy us, that we will adapt, that one day, soon enough, we will eat a good ol’ stew between the Milky Way and Andromeda... Nicolas Bazz "An intoxicating ride through space, mixing intimacy and infinity. You'll wish you never had to come back down to earth." Nova Radio More than 750 never before seen cosmic shots, cheered by the audience, praised by scientists. A new vision of space.
