EXPERIENCES AT
CORNERSTONE
At Cornerstone we believe that there are three experiences that will help make great marriages.

Larger Group Experiences
These experiences include one-night events, weekend retreats or weekend services that unpack
God’s word on marriage. Something powerful happens when couples gather with other couples
and learn about what the Bible says about marriage.
These large group experiences help elevate marriage and provide an opportunity to promote
laughter and fun. Sometimes we just need to laugh at how dumb our fights are. They also help to
normalize the struggle, but also communicate that hope is available.
Sometimes just hearing that others struggle too gives you the grace to work on the things that
have got in the way. And in other situations, hearing that there’s hope helps push through the
difficult times.

Small Group Experiences
This type of experience happens in Life Group settings when couples connect with other couples
and share their lives with one-another.
Couples that are in a Life Group experience community, natural accountability and are in an
environment that can stimulate their faith.

Individual Couples Experiences
At Cornerstone these experiences include providing date night ideas. That’s right! We’re providing
ideas for great date nights! We also have monthly emails that encourage couples with practical
tools to help their marriage. If you want info on these resources, contact us at marriage@

And we have couple-to-couple mentoring and counselors that are ready to help. For more info,

Lay Counseling: New Hope Ministries offer Biblically based counseling, encouragement and prayer.
We provide lay counseling to individuals and couples.
Referrals: We offer a network of referrals and outside resources for individuals, couples, families
and children to locally licensed, Christian counselors and MFT interns.

Cornerstone is All In for Marriages because it’s the church’s business to do so!
We believe it’s an effective way to be All In for families by helping others in their marriage.
