The permanent version of the Mere calendar event, visiting Mere, Pickmere, Hatchmere, Delamere, Newtonmere,
Blakemere, Ellesmere, Colemere, Bridgemere and Redesmere.
BREVET CARD: Please complete all the details on the attached brevet card (name, address, signature, ride date,
control locations and times) and return to me within 14 days of riding.
Ride Date: This Perm can be ridden on any date except where it clashes with the “Calendar” version. You
need to register the ride date (just text: 07931 911324 or email: [email protected]) but you can do
this just seconds before you start.
GPX validation: As an alternative to collecting receipts etc, you may submit your GPS track as “proof of
passage” provided it shows that you visited all the controls within the permitted times. Email your “.GPX” file to
[email protected] - but you still need to send me your completed brevet card.
Start/finish: Dean Row (between Stockport and Wilmslow), just off the A34 Wilmslow bypass (off M60 jn 3).
Parking (at your own risk) is available in the A5102 layby near the Deanwater Hotel (SJ 877 818). The route sheet
commences at the Petrol Station on A5102 (SJ 873 816). You may start/finish at any other control, although you
may need to check opening times to ensure you will be able to obtain proof-of-passage.
