THE POSITION
Our client, Activate Healthcare, seeks a primary care physician to serve as a
clinician, partner and advocate to the employees of Gecom Corporation, located
in Greensburg, Indiana. This position is ideal for a physician who has been
looking for a chance to make meaningful impact on the lives of people and shape
the future of health care. The physician will have the time, the tools and the
support to help make patients better without the reimbursement constraints
associated with traditional medical practice.
Activate Healthcare offers a unique solution to employers to reduce and manage
their healthcare costs by acting as their Health Asset Manager. Through a
process of Assess => Deliver => Engage => Align, Activate Healthcare
influences employee behavior in the areas of wellness, prevention, chronic
disease management, and behavior modification.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING TRAITS:
● Board certified in family medicine; experience in Sports and/or
Occupational Medicine would be beneficial to the program
● Thorough understanding and commitment to the principle of wellness and
prevention
● Skilled at and committed to creating focused action plans for each patient and
helping patients follow through on those action plans.
● Interested in and capable of learning and leveraging industry leading
practices to help support patients change their behavior.
● Serves as a role model for the principles of a healthy lifestyle
● Able to construct, implement and follow a strategic plan in order to manage
the overall company’s healthcare program and associated costs
● Effective in chronic disease management, with the ability to build
constituency and develop relationships with high quality specialists

County. In Greensburg, there is a 16 acre park complete with a 10 acre stocked

tournaments throughout the summer.
If golf is your game you will not be disappointed in the multiple courses in this
beautiful southeastern Indiana community. Wyalossing Creek Golf Course consists
of 18 holes, Par 72, 6132 yards, 130 acres of rolling terrain with water and woods.
Founded in 1925, Greensburg Country Club is an 18-hole, semi-private, member
owned golf club. Greensburg Country Club is a picturesque, 6,251 yard layout
featuring bent grass fairways, tees, and greens, with a variety of rolling tree lined
holes. The clubhouse includes golf shop, dining room, lounge, and banquet facility. The club has 400 members, including 350 golf members, and offers an active
schedule of member tournaments and leagues for men, women, and seniors. North
Branch Golf offers another 27 holes built on rolling hills, mature trees and a few
bunkers about the course.

One of Greensburg’s hidden gems is Stapp’s Circle S Ranch, a petting zoo created by local couple Jim and Theresa Stapp to educate people, especially children,
about animals from around the world. There are 32 acres of fun filled adventure
with exotic birds and animals. The newest additions to the Ranch are five Grizzly
bears who join the Siberian and Indo-Chinese tigers that were added in 2010.
Other animals attractions include monkeys, lemur, sheep, tortoise, goats, a llama
and much more. It will leave you saying, “Tigers, Bears and Indiana- oh my”!
Situated on historic Pleak’s Hill in Greensburg, Highpoint Orchard has
transformed the area into a bustling gathering space. The orchard is situated on 18
acres where they grow delicious apples, juicy peaches and ripe pears. Over 20
varieties of fruit are grown here. Visitors stop by to not only tour the orchard but
also to enjoy lunch at the café onsite, pick up fresh fruit or buy a gift in the gift
shop.
The Arts & Cultural Council of Decatur County was created to promote and
enhance cultural activities in area. Events for 2013 include concerts, the Arts
Festival on the Square, High Point Orchard Music Festival, and Christmas with the
Arts on the Greensburg Square. Tree Country Players, the local community theater
group offers multiple stage productions each year.
