Terrain Mud Runs is a series of truly unique obstacle mud running
events that draw elite athletes, weekend warriors, entire families,
and individuals of all ages from all over the Southwest.
Our races aren’t on pavement or flat simple trails. We send
athletes through tons of mud and over 20 challenging obstacles.
Terrain athletes choose either a 5k, 10k or 20k course featuring a
wide variety of obstacles. From cargo nets and tubes to rope
walls and monkey bars, we’ve got it all. After racing, our athletes
party at the finish line with friends, family, music ,and beer!

Kids Course Title Sponsor - $3,500
The kids course (ages 2-9) will be named after
your business.
Example: Your Name Little Monkey Race
(only one sponsor per event)
After the last wave of adult runners a couple
hundred kids race a 1/2 mile course with smaller
obstacles and mud pits. Part of your
sponsorship will cover costs for a free kids play
zone with certified daycare professionals. You
can choose a non-profit to volunteer at the play
zone and accept a $10 suggested donation.

At each event we print our logo on pint glasses, koozies, re-usable
shoppings and water bottles to give the athletes for free. Add your logo
on one side and pay a per athlete fee depending on the item you want.

Terrain Racing Company
Our owner, Jerry Foreman, has put on over 150 events in the last 14 years including
mud runs, triathlons, 100 mile bike rides, overnight 200 mile running relays and
marathons. In 2011 our company focused solely on mud runs and hosted events in
Portland, San Jose, Eugene, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Tucson and Flagstaff. We are very
familiar with athlete safety, insurance requirements, permitting, organization,
timelines, and have worked closely with multiple city, county, and state jurisdictions
for all of our events.
How We Differ
Instead of branding our company with an angry connotation or a themed race such
as a pirates, warriors, soldiers, etc., our athletes are proud to conquer terrain Mud
Runs as themselves. You'll be proud of your OWN accomplishments of navigating a
challenging and fun mud run course. Terrain is about your own accomplishments.
Terrain is about you.
You won’t find gladiators forcing you to take the plunge into a “scary” swamp. We
know that you don’t have to pretend to be something else for the day to reach your
goals and be your own hero.
Instead, you’ll take that leap as you, not as a themed character. You’ll find that you
are more than a number on your forehead or an identically dressed spartan. You are
part of the terrain family!
Throughout the race you’ll be challenged by obstacles so large they take heavy
machinery to construct. On the other side of them you'll relish in your glory of
conquering them as yourself.
We all have our own obstacles to tackle and completing your terrain mud run will be
an awesome way to overcome them. It’s a course we build and we call it terrain. But
in the end, it’s your race, it’s your terrain.
• One thing we pride ourselves on is we build more obstacles (cargo nets,
monkey bars, rope walls) than most; 20-25 on a 10k course.
• We offer 5k, 10k and 20k courses at all venues to appeal to first time athletes
as well as seasoned elite obstacle racers.
• The events are family friendly. Kids 7 and older can run the adult 5k course.
We also offer a .5 mile course for 2-8 year-olds.
• Most athletes spend 2 hours at the festival area after the race instead of
driving home right away like a triathlon or half marathon.
• Each athlete gets a raffle entry they must validate by visiting 5 sponsors. This
engages our athletes with you and keeps them at the event longer.
• There are contests, games, food and beverages to create an event, not simply
a running a race.
