Easter Offering 2014
Every Easter, MVPC takes a special offering for our mission partners,
reaffirming our partnership with them and allowing us to help them in
specific ways. This year’s offering will furnish a house for resident students of
World Impact’s Urban Ministry Institute and a dining room auditorium for Kids
Alive Peru.
World Impact, West Oakland
Your contribution will help to furnish
a house for students enrolled in The
Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI),
World Impact’s program to train
indigenous church leaders for church
planting among the urban poor. World Impact is dedicated to training leaders
for the Kingdom of God. TUMI equips future church leaders to evangelize,
disciple, plant and pastor churches and ministries as the Lord leads.
Transitional Student Housing provides a clean and sober living environment
for men enrolled in TUMI.

Easter program for children through 5th grade.
Kids Alive, Peru
Prelude
Your contribution will help to furnish a dining
room auditorium with folding tables and
chairs and an industrial sewing machine to be
used to train moms in marketable skills. Kids
Alive International is dedicated to meeting
the spiritual, physical, educational, and
emotional needs of children who have no
means of support. In Peru, Kids Alive provides an education, nutritious meals,
medical care and the love of Christ to more than 165 children through five
ministry sites.

Remember, Renew and Refill
Today, through our offering of music and the spoken word, we’re celebrating the
resurrection of Jesus—an event that has brought hope and changed lives for centuries.
Yes, we believe that Jesus actually rose from the dead all those years ago. But Jesus’
resurrection is more than just an historical event. Through the gift of His Spirit, Jesus
is alive, present, and active on this planet. His healing, transforming power can still
give hope and change lives. We’ve seen it with our own eyes.
Our purpose at Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church is to know Christ and make
Him known. We want to become a faithful church, nurturing Christian maturity
in our adults, developing healthy relationships in our congregation, and discipling
children and students in our community. We’d love to have you join us in this

Why is it sometimes so hard to live at peace in our relationships? Join the
MVPC LivingPeace team for a workshop focused on the biblical principles
and practical conflict resolution skills.
Christ is risen indeed!
A workshop and luncheon to honor our lost loved ones.
You will receive information, encouragement and guidance for your grief
process. High school students and adults are invited to participate. Register
