Children’s Pastors Appreciation Day… Tonight
at 6pm, we will be having an appreciation dinner
for our children’s pastors Jimmy and Terri
Watkins. Please join us for this pot luck dinner
and help us shower them with our love and
appreciation. Everyone is to bring a covered dish.
Desserts are already covered!
Trail Blazer Picnic… To all you Trail Blazers
(adults age 55 and up), weather permitting, we
will have our picnic this Tuesday, March 28 at
11am at the Kings Ferry Park. Please bring a
covered dish and plan to join us for a great time of
food, fun, and fellowship.
Resurrection Crusade… Please be in prayer for
the Resurrection Crusade, April 3-14. Pastor Walt
along with several other Pastors and Ministers,
will be traveling the East Coast, carrying the
Gospel message that Jesus saves, heals, and
delivers. Please pray that hearts and churches are
prepared to receive and accept all that God has for
them.
Spring Revival… We will be having Evangelists
Ed & Heather Held in for Revival April 23-28. That
Sunday we will have 11am AND 6pm, then
Monday through Friday at 7pm. There will be no
youth or children’s classes on Wednesday the 26.
Please make plans to be here for this great
Revival.
Elevate Youth Trip… Our Youth Trip is
scheduled for June 8-10. We will be going to
Valdosta, Georgia to Wild Adventures. In the
evenings we will have pool side devotions, prayer,
and discussions. If you have a youth age 12 and up
who is interested in going, a non-refundable
deposit of $50 per person is required no later than
Easter Sunday. A sign-up sheet will go out
Wednesday. We have already secured rooms for 30
people. We would like for any and all of our Spirit
Life youth to attend and then as far as friends and
outside youth, first come first served will be added
to the 30. No one will be added to the list until their
$50 deposit is paid. We have fundraisers planned
and we encourage you to get involved in them to
help fund all or part of your child’s trip. More
details to come…
Camp Meeting 2017… If you haven’t already,
please mark July 14-21 on your calendar. July 14-16
will be our Youth Nights. Although services are
geared a little more to the Youth, we encourage you
all to be here, not only to receive of the anointing
yourself, but to support the church and what God is
going to do in our Youth. July 17-21 will be the main
event with ministers traveling in from all over the
US and abroad. In the next few weeks, a lot more
details and volunteer sign ups will be available. For
now, if you would consider being on a special
planning committee for CM, please text Pastor
Michelle at 912-547-5800 to let her know.
Youth Yard Sale… Saturday, May 6, the Youth will
be having a Yard Sale here at Spirit Life. With Spring
drawing nearer, many of you are probably planning
to do some Spring Cleaning. Please consider
donating any new or gently used items that we can
sale at the Yard Sale. If you have items that you
would like to donate and do not have the means of
getting your items to the church, we can arrange to
pick up from your home or business.
