Introduction
Dryden Projects is a well-established contracting company that
has provided turnkey building solutions to public and private
sector clients across the country for the past twenty years with an
exceptional service offering that is founded on values such as
honesty, reliability and quality.
We have earned a reputation as the trusted contractor for
building, construction, maintenance, plumbing and shop fitting
projects of all types. From new structures – commercial, industrial

element on the building site, regardless of the nature or
requirements of a project.
Ownership
Dryden Projects is a family owned and managed business founded
Ownership
by Paul Dryden in 1993. Paul began his career as a trainee plumber
with a well-renowned plumbing company and qualified as a
plumber at the tender age of 21.
One year after obtaining his qualification, he joined another
company as a project manager, gaining vital experience over a 5year period in which he was involved with several large contracts –
including maintenance of the Military Hospital in Cape Town.
At age 27, through the company he was employed by, Paul was
responsible for all the plumbing work at the Military Hospital in
Pretoria. Shortly thereafter, he established Dryden Plumbing which
later grew to become Dryden Projects CC.

Dryden projects currently employs a diverse team of over 600, among whom are
professionals and highly skilled artisans from various backgrounds and disciplines.
We are united by common values that enable us to combine our expertise
toward the common goal of developing exceptional structures.

As a family-owned business, Dryden Projects places a strong emphasis on family values, mutual support and
professionalism. We place a strong emphasis on quality and timely service provision at every level of our operations from management to site supervision, and place quality, reliability and honesty at the core of all we do.
Structure
Dryden Projects is part of a group of specialised companies that include Dryden Building Supplies, Dryden Property
Development and Dryden Timber Creations, which is owned and managed by Paul’s son, Evan, who is also a part
owner of Dryden Projects CC. Gareth Dryden - Paul’s youngest son - is also a part owner of the entity and manages
various sides of both companies.
Generally, all employees within the Dryden group of companies are highly skilled in all aspects that pertain to building
and renovation work and are able to play a hands-on role in both companies. Because we have forged good
relationships with specialist consultants in all relevant fields to our building and construction projects, we are able to
effectively manage the requirements of these projects singlehandedly with the highest levels of quality and attention to
detail.

Dryden projects is a specialist Heritage Building contractor that
holds a solid track record in the handling of various aspects of
heritage building projects such as restoration, renewal and
maintenance. Each company within our group has a special
division that is dedicated to this specialty area and provides
specialised services for this niche. This includes specialty staff who
are trained specifically to handle heritage projects.

poisonous fumes always present, the construction environment
poses constant potential health threats.
To reduce the chances of occupational injury, we provide safety
wear to all our employees and ensure that, through our site
managers, safety specifications are observed and met at all times.
The site manager conducts routine checks throughout the day to
make sure that employees are safe at all times and that there is
no risk posed to their health or safety.
