How to Set Restrictions

How to Set Restrictions on the iPad
You can use Restrictions, also known as parental controls, to block or limit specific apps and
features on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
1. Go to Settings
2. Go to General on the left hand side and tap to open.
3. Scroll down to Restrictions on the right hand side and tap to open.
4. Tap Enable Restrictions and enter a Restrictions passcode. This should not be shared with
the student.
5. From here you can increase the restrictions on access to apps or content.
6. If Restrictions are already on, the student may have set a password themselves. This should
be changed and not shared with the student.
7. Alternatively, the school may have entered a password to ensure there is no misuse of this
facility. If this is the case, contact the school and the password will be shared with a
parent/guardian.
