GOOD TIPS FROM VILLA ZEN
FRUITS AND VEGETABLES.
EXSOSOL
Melon, pineapple, tomatoes, mango, lime......directly from producers : coming from
the Villa by the road of Pierre &Vacances, turn right on the N4 and 100 m after, just
after the small bridge, panel 4mx3m advertising “Leader Price” and below
“EXSOSOL”, turn to the first left, claim the coast and you will see an industrial
building on the right.
Park enters through the gate, and you will see on the left a steel door open. A small
display in the middle of a melon packing line, on the table. There are not much of the

shelves but everything is in cold rooms.After a few minutes' waiting, one worker will
come to serve you.
Cash payment, opened in the morning from 7:30 to 14:00, Saturday included.
“Le Marché du Levant”
On the road N5, from Saint François to Le Moule, 4 km after St François, on the
right, a large panel show the way. Open from 07:30 to 18:00 except Sundays .

Saint François : on the stalls of the fishing port, near the
harbour, early bird...is best served.
NIGHT MARKETS, 16:00 to 20:00 .
Stalls are run by small producers, and cooks prepare local dishes.
In Sainte Anne & Saint François Indian cook nan and chicken tikka and chicken
tandoori . He is not always present and he is sold out after 18:00, so be patient, you
are on vacation …..

“ Le Mabouya dans la bouteille” next to the UCPA, 0590213114, good French food
and nice wine cellar.

“Le P'tit Ilet”, around the marina, good pancakes and deserts.
“Le Zagaya” one of the finest in Guadeloupe, maybe in the Caribbean, near the
harbour.
“Lolo” right at the crossroads after the post: Le Raou (local specialties).
“La Rhumerie du Pirate” : last restaurant, on the right side, on the way to La Pointe
des Chateaux, 0590 832 594, everything is nice, the view (seaside), the food, try
“ Poisson coffre farçi aux lambis”, the rosé wine, the dessert, try “Fondant aux fruits

“Le Filet du Pêcheur” : Tuesday night, evening traditional Creole "Gwoka" ("talking
drums"), beachside UCPA.
