face and change of clothing. Avoid splashing the concentrate onto susceptible plants
such as flower plants and shrubs as well as lawns, streams, dams and any other areas
not under treatment. The concentrate is carried downwards into the soil by water and
should therefore not be used near shrubs, trees or flowering plants. Destroy empty
container and never use for any other purpose. Prevent contamination of food, feeds,
drink water and eating utensils.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
USE ONLY AS DIRECTED.
GENERAL:
Can be applied before appearance of algae, and water turning green. Can be used
on existing “green” ponds where algae is well established.
NOTE:
POND CLEAR may cause cloudiness of pond water. This will be of a temporary nature however. The changing of 20 % of the pond water prior to treating with the
algaecide is recommended.
Check pH, nitrate, nitrites and salt before chemical is added.
MIXING AND APPLICATION
It is important to calculate the volume of your fish pond/fountain accurately.
Use the formula below:
Length (m) X Width (m) X Depth (m) X 1 000 = Volume in l
Example: 3m X 2m X 1m X 1 000 = 6 000 l
Circular pond 3m in diameter, 1m deep:
1,5m X 1,5m X 3,142 X 1 X 1 000 = 7 065 l
Using a clean bucket, half fill with pond water, and add one level 5 ml measuring
spoon (provided) of POND CLEAR for every 500 l of pond water to the pond water in the
bucket. Stir well, and pour evenly over the surface of the pond, being careful not to
spill on plants. Rinse the bucket well with clean water before any other use.
IMPORTANT:
WARNINGS
Handle with care. Poisonous when absorbed through the skin or swallowed or inhaled. Store in a cool place. Store away from food, feeds, seed, other agricultural
chemicals and out of reach of children.
Safe to use with pond fish (koi, goldfish, etc), provided that the
mixing and applications directions for use are adhered to. Ensure that good aeration
is provided 24 hours a day to the pond, via a waterfall or fountain, for a few days until
after the water has cleared.

Once the volume of your pond has been calculated accurately, measure one level
5 ml measuring spoon (provided) of POND CLEAR for every 500 l of pond water. Mix
the measured quantity of POND CLEAR with half a bucket of pond water, and spread
evenly over the surface of the pond. Rinse the bucket well with additional pond water. In
the event that the algae has not been cleared after seven days, apply half the dosage
again to the pond. Treat when algae begins to appear again.

van die konsentraat met gevoelige plante soos blomme en struike, asook grasperke,
riviere, damme en enige gebied wat nie behandel word nie. Die konsentraat word
deur water in die grond ingedra en moet derhalwe nie naby struike, bome en blomplante gebruik word nie. Vernietig leë houer en moet nooit vir enige ander doel
gebruik nie. Voorkom besoedeling van voedsel, voer, drinkwater en eetgerei.
GEBRUIKSAANWYSINGS
GEBRUIK SLEGS SOOS AANGEDUI.
ALGEMEEN:
Kan toegedien word voordat die alge gevestig is. Kan ook toegedien word wanneer
visdamwater groen met alge is.
LET WEL: POND CLEAR sal die damwater ‘n melkerige kleur gee. Hierdie toestand
is tydelik. Daar word aanbeveel dat 20 % van die damwater vervang word met vars
water voordat toediening van POND CLEAR plaasvind.
Gaan pH, nitrate, nitriet en soutvlakke na voordat middel bygevoeg word.
VERMENGING EN TOEDIENING:
Dit is belangrik om die volume van die visdam/fontein te bepaal.
Gebruik die volgende formule:
Lengte (m) X Breedte (m) X Diepte (m) X 1 000 = Volume in l
Voorbeeld: 3m X 2m X 1m X 1 000 = 6 000 l
Ronde dam van 3m in deursnee 1m diep:
1,5m X 1,5m X 3,142 X 1 X 1 000 = 7 065 l
Gebruik ‘n skoon emmer, en maak dit half vol met damwater. Gebruik die maatlepel
van 5 ml (ingesluit) en skep ‘n gelyke lepelvol van POND CLEAR vir elke 500 l van die
damvolume. Meng die POND CLEAR met die damwater in die emmer. Roer die mengsel goed, en versprei die mengsel eweredig oor die hele oppervlak van die visdam.
Wees versigtig om nie van die mengsel oor gewenste plante te spoel nie.
BELANGRIK:
WAARSKUWINGS:
Hanteer versigtig. Giftig as ingesluk of ingeasem word of met die vel in aanraking
kom. Bêre in ‘n koel plek. Bêre weg van voedselware, voer, saad, ander landboumiddels en buite bereik van kinders.
VOORSORGMAATREËLS:
Moenie stof inasem nie. Was onmiddellik met seep en water indien per ongeluk met
die vel in aanraking kom. Moenie eet, drink of rook tydens of na menging en toediening
of alvorens hande en gesig gewas en skoon klere aangetrek is nie. Verhoed aanraking

VERSIGTIG
Veilig om te gebruik in visdamme (Koi, Goudvisse, ens.) as daar
by die vermenging, toediening en gebruiksaanwysings gehou word. Verseker goeie
belugting 24 uur per dag aan die dam m.b.v. ‘n waterval of ‘n fontein vir ‘n paar dae
totdat die water weer helder is.
GEBRUIKSTERKTES:
Indien die volume van die dam akkuraat bepaal is, meet uit een gelyke maatlepelvol
(ingesluit) van POND CLEAR vir elke 500 l van die visdamvolume. Meng hierdie
uitgemete hoeveelheid van POND CLEAR saam met die visdamwater in die emmer.
Roer die mengsel goed, en versprei die mengsel eweredig oor die hele oppervlak van
die visdam. Spoel die emmer goed uit met addisionele visdamwater. Indien die alge
nie binne sewe dae beheer word nie, herhaal toediening met ‘n half dosis. Herhaal
toediening sodra alge weer verskyn.
