FOR
CHRISTMAS
November was such a great month learning
about everyone and their families. We had
fun making hand turkeys and talking about
what being thankful means and what we are
thankful for. Most of the children said they
are thankful for their parents, which brought
a smile to my face. This month is going to be
very exci.ng and fun. We are breaking out
the gli"er and jingle bells. The children
have been
prac.cing
everyday for
the Christmas Program
on Dec. 10th.
Be sure to
show up at
6:15pm in
the church
foyer. Have
a blessed
Christmas
season.
CHILD CARE PK NEWS
Ms. Heather, Ms. Kris.n B.
Your child had fun learning about construction and
transportation in the month of November. The one
thing I enjoyed hearing was what your child was
thankful for. I want to share their answers. From
the kids: I am thankful for…Ally: my mom,
Aidan: my mom, my dad & my dog, Becca: my
mom, dad, doggy & kitten, Bryson: God making
my cousin, Clotese: my mom & brother, Devon:
trees, apples, pears, strawberries & potatoes, Daion: my cat, Hezekiah: everything, Joshua: God,
Kayla: my mom & my daddy, Monet: my parents,
Olivia: rainbows & cats, Robbie: my parents. I
hope you enjoy what came from their hearts like I
did. I also want to thank you for helping with our
Family Feast last month. The children had lots of
fun making their own turkey sandwiches and pies.
This month we will be learning that the true meaning of Christmas is “Jesus’ Birth”. We also will be
cooking in the kitchen. We will have some fun
things we will be making and sharing with you.
They will also be learning that a story has a
beginning, middle and end. They will be writing
their own twelve days of Christmas story and
illustrating it. Keep a close look out for it hanging
in the hallway for you to read and enjoy. We will
be doing lots of math concepts and numbers, like
which objects are long & short, top, middle and
bottom and small, medium
and big. I am looking forward
to sharing Christ’s love with
your child. I wish you and
your child a Merry Christmas
and Happy New Year’s.

Through the Christmas
story we will be learning
that God loves us so
much He sent his one and
only Son to save us from
our sins. This baby boy
that was born in a
manger in Bethlehem has
brought joy, peace and
the light to all that love
and believe in Him. Our
class will be filled with
excitement as we prepare
a special Christmas Party.
At this party we will sing
together, and present
Christmas gi3s made with
love. We will eat
homemade decorated
sugar cookies and have a
.me to fellowship
together. May we always
remember God became
flesh and dwelt among
men. God’s riches and
blessings to you!
Merry Christmas.
