Hancock no longer carries our Original Trigger. They changed manufacturers and were calling it something else.
The color they had was just slightly different. They will sell you the Polyester Sport. This fabric is lighter in weight
and has a stretch on the bias. This is the vivid gold vests we have been seeing lately.
The Canvas is too yellow and is a very open weave. The Twill has a good feel, but I don’t know about shrinkage. It
also is the brighter gold.
Jo-Ann Fabrics now carries Canvas Target Cloth. It is 65% polyester/35% cotton. ($7.99/yard) It would be fine,
but they do not have Gold at the moment and cannot tell me if they will do a Spring dye lot. You can get the
Canvas Target at Jo-Ann stores or on-line only.
After finding out 300 yards of Trigger was sold for a tent, W.D. and I bought all the credit card could hold. We
have 100 yards available at $6.50/yard. ($5.99 + 49¢ tax and 2¢ because I don’t add and multiply so good.) Full
yard cuts please. It is on 25 yard bolts.
The manufacturer does not intend to do another dye lot. They dye in 10,000 yard quantities. The distributor is
trying to find out if he can get a smaller dye lot. We can hope.
