Coached in twelve post-season tournaments: NCAA in 1995, 1997, 2005, 2007, 2010, and 2011; NIT in 1999 and 2006; CBI in 2008; CIT in 2009 and 2012; WNIT in 2014. Supervised scheduling, which allowed Old Dominion to receive at-large consideration in 2005, 2007, 2010, and 2011 resulting in ODU’s first at-large bid in 21 years in 2007 and automatic qualification in 2005, 2010, and 2011. Extensive experience in international recruiting, including players from Australia, Lithuania, Ivory Coast, Canada, and Finland. Recruited six players named to the CAA All-Academic Team, including one CAA Scholar Athlete of the Year and one Academic All-American. Twice in the five years from 2007- 2012 our men’s basketball team at Old Dominion has achieved the highest GPA ever. From 2003-20012 (9 seasons), while working with the post players, we had a post player named to the All-Conference Team. One player was named the CAA Player-of-the-Year. Two others have been named the MVP of the CAA Tournament. Helped Old Dominion compile a 28-6 record in 2004-2005, the most wins in school history, winning the CAA regular season and tournament championships. Between 2005-2012, the ODU program recorded 195 wins, the most in any eight year period in history, and made post season play for eight straight years. At William and Mary had the nation’s highest graduation rate (100%) twice. Won the 1987 State Championship at Bishop McGuinness High School. Recognized by the Bleacher Report as one of the Top 15 Assistant Coaches in College Basketball in spring 2012. Named the top assistant in the CAA by Jeff Goodman, and recognized as one of the top five midmajor assistant coaches by the Hoop Scoop. In 2006 assisted in Old Dominion reaching the final four of the post season NIT for the only time in school history. Won more CAA championships (six) than any other institution at the time that Old Dominion left the CAA for Conference-USA. Was a part of five of the six championships.
