the second sunday after the epiphany

Ash Wednesday
10 February 2016
“Thin places,” in Celtic spirituality, are where ordinary reality and God’s holiness meet…
where the veil between heaven and earth seems transparent. A thin place is anywhere our
hearts are opened… The Celts perceived the entire world as saturated with the glory of
God. Though every place is potentially a thin place, we have to stop, look and listen…
Expect to hear God’s voice. Expect that God will touch you. It happens. Be attentive.
Somehow, somewhere, during your Sunday morning worship experience, expect
God.(author-Bill Lewellis)
