March/April 2014
Hello! I’m so excited about the way Spanish has been going. Your children have not
only experienced vocabulary that we are using in class, but they’ve done so well that we
have had fiestas. Your children love rice and beans which is a staple of Spanish culture.
In March and April the students will continue to build their Spanish vocabulary. They are
doing an amazing job remembering what they have already been taught and applying it
to the new lessons. The students are now even starting to build compound words and
read simple sentences.
In the upcoming months we will continue to expand their Spanish vocabulary, solidify
what they have already learned and move into teaching grammar. The students will
learn to speak in simple sentence and communicate with each other.
