We’ve raised the funds, thanks to a great effort by the community, and the festival is back and as great as ever Welcome once again to the Forest Row Festival. The village has pulled together and dug deep to raise the funds to ensure that all the music and entertainment on the Village Green will again be free for everyone. As usual we have assembled a fantastic array of predominantly local musical talent to entertain you over the weekend. As well as the bands, the Green will host craft stalls, a dazzling array of delicious food options, and all sorts of other fun and games. The Festival has always prided itself on being part of the community, and there will be a rich assortment of events around the village. The Community Centre will host a Fifties Tea Dance featuring Sweetheart Swing on Sunday afternoon, and there will be a Community Art Exhibition at the Baptist Church. For fans of the spoken word, there will be a unique take on Shakespeare’s Cymbeline at the Storytelling Hut at Emerson College, and back on the Village Green the Pericles team will be performing Beatrix Potter’s Tailor of Gloucester. Thank you for coming. We hope you have a brilliant weekend! www.forestrowfestival.org.uk The FR Festival team Every year, the festival is put together entirely by a dedicated team of volunteers.
