A Thank You from the NETWorks Cooperative Ministry On behalf of the NETWorks Cooperative Ministry, the Outreach Council, would like to thank everyone who responded to the Coats and Socks drive in November. The recipients of these items were most grateful and thankful, for your unfailing generosity, which meant that they were sent on their way with some relief from the chilly weather. A special word of thanks must be extended to Elaine McClean, who single handedly for 2 years, has provided soft toys to this ministry for the children of the clients who arrive seeking help. The toys prove to be a great boon to the volunteers, when it comes to keeping the children occupied while the parents are being interviewed. The NETWorks Cooperative Ministry is fully aware that it would not be able to operate successfully, without the support of the churches in the community. And St. Bede’s, I am pleased to report, is one of the most responsive.
