50 Years of Mission and Ministry
Almighty and
eternal God, so
draw our hearts to
you, so guide our
minds, so fill our
imaginations, so
control our wills,
that we may be
wholly yours,
utterly dedicated
to you; and then
use us, we pray, as
you will, and
always to your
glory and the
welfare of your
people; through
our Lord and
Savior Jesus
Christ. Amen.

A Thank You from the NETWorks Cooperative Ministry
On behalf of the NETWorks Cooperative Ministry, the Outreach Council, would like
to thank everyone who responded to the Coats and Socks drive in November. The
recipients of these items were most grateful and thankful, for your unfailing generosity, which meant that they were sent on their way with some relief from the chilly
weather.
A special word of thanks must be extended to Elaine McClean, who single handedly
for 2 years, has provided soft toys to this ministry for the children of the clients who
arrive seeking help. The toys prove to be a great boon to the volunteers, when it
comes to keeping the children occupied while the parents are being interviewed.
The NETWorks Cooperative Ministry is fully aware that it would not be able to operate successfully, without the support of the churches in the community. And St.
Bede’s, I am pleased to report, is one of the most responsive.

Epiphany Season ― Living the Questions 2.0
Living the Questions 2.0 is a popular video and internetbased small group exploration of progressive Christianity
featuring premier religious voices of our day, including acclaimed scholars, theologians and other experts. LtQ2
strives to create an environment where participants can interact with one another in exploring what’s next for Christianity. The sessions feature 20-minute video segments that
include conversations with leading voices of faith, digital
stories illustrating aspects of an evolving faith, and concrete
spiritual practices and disciplines. The video segments will
be followed by guided group discussion. Living the Questions
will be offered each Sunday during the Epiphany Season

St Bede’s will continue it’s tradition of serving meals to the families at Nicholas
House this spring. As most of you know, Nicholas House is a shelter for homeless
families. It is situated on Boulevard in the Grant Park area. The families get support
in many ways while they are getting back on their feet, including a hot evening meal
prepared by volunteers.
This year St Bede’s will prepare meals on the following dates:
Thursday, March 8th
Tuesday, March 13th
Tuesday, March 20th
You can help in many ways:
● Sign up to be the host for the evening
● Organize your own team for one night
● Sign up to help cook, prepare or serve
the meal (Can be done on or off site)
● Make a donation towards the purchase
of food
If you would like to help in any way please call Elaine McClean at 770-270-5766
or e-mail at [email protected]
