In special cases, the organizers reserve the right to include players below 2200 in this tournamen

No request towards waiver of entry fee or waiver of late fee will be entertained. However

Tournament Rules :
System of Play :
The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss System.
Time Control :
60 Minutes plus 30 second increment from move 1.
Tie Break :
In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall come in to effect. The Cash prizes however
will not b e shared.

GENERAL INFORMATION
TRANSPORTATION :
Players are requested to report directly at the Venue. The RiaiWay Station and Airport is approximately 15 Kms
from the venue. CITY Bus Nos. 306 & 225 are available from Railway Station and Airport respectively.
However, the organizer will make arrangements to drop the players after completion of the event.
Player's Profile Form
All the players except Odisha players have to fill up the players profile form at the venue failing on
which organizers will not be responsible for his/her name being not paired. Odisha players have to only
mention their AOCA id at the time of submitting the entry fees.
Registration:
AICF registration fee for 2012-13 is compulsory for all Indian participants. The registration fee of
Rs. 250/- will be accepted at the venue for the convenience of the players.
Weather:
The Weather in Bhubaneswar during May is expected to be hot. The minimum I maximum temperature
will be around 30/35 D egree Celsius.

Message
KilT is proud to organize the 51h KilT International Chess Festival at
KilT University from May 20 - 27. 2013 and bring out the Tournament
souvenir to commemorate the occasion. Anatoly Karpov, one of the greatest
players of all time and former World Champion, had famously said - "Chess
is everything - art. science and sport." KilT holds all the three very close to
its heart. The University actively encourages and promotes sports and
games, including Chess and achievements of its students in the field are
impressive. For this reason, in past we have had the privilege to host and
organize many international and national level sports meet. I am sure that
aesthetic campus of KilT University would provide an ideal setting for this
beautiful game.
I take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to the players from
India and abroad, officials, organizers and volunteers to KilT campus and
wish them all the best.
