With seven billion people living in the world, each passing moment provides an
opportunity to help one another. By losing ourselves in a cause we believe in and
are prepared to fight for, we can find both happiness and genuine success. This year
on October 18, 2012, credit unions in 100 countries will celebrate International
Credit Union (ICU) Day by banding together and appreciating their members. As a
credit union member, you belong to a global movement in which people help people.
Worldwide, 188 million members experience the benefits of belonging to a financial
cooperative that believes in and is willing to fight for this year’s message: “Members
Matter Most.” Credit unions exist to serve you, the member, not to increase the
bottom line. A focus on superb customer service and member satisfaction sets
credit unions apart from other financial institutions. As not-for-profit cooperative
institutions, credit unions return their earnings to members in the form of higher
interest on deposits, lower loan rates, and fewer fees. Irrespective of the amount
you have on deposit with us, you are a member and an owner, with equal ownership
and one vote. Members are never just numbers; your ownership empowers you and
provides a voice. In addition to member control, credit unions offer education and
training programs. Fifty-four percent of Americans ages 18 to 34 check their social
media accounts daily, while less than one third do a daily check on their financial
statements. Credit unions actively focus on creating fiscally responsible members
through their wide variety of education programs, which positively impact savings
and spending habits for a lifetime. Member control, education and training programs,
and concern for the community are key cooperative values that differentiate credit
unions from other financial institutions. Our people-first philosophy illustrates our
underlying credit union message... “Members Matter Most”.

I hereby request Linn-Co Federal Credit Union to allow me to skip the payment(s) due on ______________
for my loan number(s) ______________________. If my request is granted, this payment will be added to
the end of the loan, and my periodic statement will not show a payment due for the requested month.
I authorize the credit union to deduct a skip payment fee (FINANCE CHARGE) of $20 per loan
from my [ ] share account [ ] checking account (choose one).
I understand that interest will continue to accrue on the balance, and that skipping this payment will require
me to make additional payments in order to pay off the loan. I may make up the payment at any time, but doing so will not change the due date of the next scheduled payment.

months, and past due loans are not eligible for skip payment requests. Skip cannot be used in lieu of first payment. Skipping more than 2 times during the period of the loan
may void some GAP insurance policies.

community groups came together to make this an amazing day for these kids. We began at 5:30am
early Saturday morning by picking up 40 dozen of the ‘blingy’ist’, cutest donuts you could imagine.
Then we hauled in over 700 juice and water bottles along with 300 muffin halves for a fun morning
breakfast. We also brought 325 ‘Snack Sacks’ loaded with healthier lunch type foods. Then we made
sure each child shopping took a ‘snack sack’ home. Each student also received a backpack filled with
school supplies (Linn-Co volunteers handed out the backpacks and also wrote each child’s name their
new backpack). Boys & Girls Club memberships were also given. Linn-Co had 19 volunteers help
at KidzShop this year. It is definitely one of our favorite events! The smiles on those little faces is
something we look forward to year after year.
