The Waterloo Regional Police Service is committed to working toward a safer community through
education and enforcement. This mapping application is best viewed through a desktop computer and
is provided as a public service. It represents the extent of information police can publicly provide
relating to calls for service. All data visualizations on the maps have been adjusted to protect personal
privacy. This tool provides general information about police calls for service - not every call is a crime
and some information may not be releasable. Crime statistics can be found in the 'Publications' link on
this website. Requests for specific call information is governed by restrictions imposed by legislation
(see our Access to Information web pages).
PLEASE NOTE: Maps are based upon preliminary information provided to police by the reporting parties
and may not have been verified. The preliminary crime classifications may be changed at a later date
based upon additional investigation and the possibility of mechanical or human error.
