APPLICATION FORM
This application form is for a grant of £450 from the Horizon Lectures
Adventure Fund. The fund exists to encourage and enable people to undertake
their own adventurous trips, ideas and expeditions. We welcome a broad range
of ideas but we regret that we are unable to accept applications from individuals
who are taking part in organised trips or commercial expeditions.
If your application is successful, you agree to:
- Deliver a 25-minute talk following your trip to the Horizon Lectures
audience in Oxfordshire.
- Where applicable, acknowledge the Horizon Lectures Adventure Fund on
the expedition website and in any expedition reports.
Please note that, to maximise the value available for the grant, we are unable to
pay additional expenses for travelling to speak at our events in Oxfordshire. We
recommend you take this into account, especially if travelling from outside the
area, before making an application.

There is no fixed closing date and we review applications on a rolling basis. We
typically aim to inform you if have been successful within 3 months of
application but this can be quicker if your timescales require. We may contact
you to provide additional information or to arrange an informal phone interview.
