The upcoming Assembly election has posed the most important question for residents:
whom to vote for? The most undecided it seems are the younger voters of the Capital.
According to the India Today Group-Cicero opinion poll, for voters up to 25 years, both BJP
and AAP have 39 per cent each followed by Congress at 15 and others at 7. The scenario is
exactly the same in the case of voters between 26 and 35 years as both BJP and AAP gets
39 per cent support each followed by Congress (15) and others (7).

Older voters, however, lean towards BJP. For people in the age group 36 to 45 years, 40 per
cent favour BJP, 36 AAP, 16 Congress and others get 8 per cent. For ones in the age group
46 to 55 years, 41 per cent back BJP, AAP gets 34, Congress 17 and other 8. For voters 56
years and above, BJP still tops with 41 per cent, AAP bags 30 per cent, Congress 19 while
others get 10 per cent.

For both women and men, BJP is first choice followed by AAP
For women voters, BJP is on top with 39 per cent, followed by AAP with 36. Congress gets
16 per cent followed by others at 9. For male voters, 41 per cent support BJP, 36 will vote
for AAP, Congress get 16 while 7 per cent support others.
In terms of level of education, most prefer BJP followed by AAP
Among non-literate voters, 34 per cent support BJP, followed by AAP (32), Congress (22)
and others (12). However, for voters with education upto primary level, there is a tight tie
between AAP and BJP. Both parties have 38 per cent support, followed by Congress (17)
and others (7). For ones with education upto matric, 39 per cent support BJP, 36 AAP, 16
