LUKE RYAN SHAW
$100,000 REWARD
The cooperation of the public is sought to
establish the identity of the driver of a motor
vehicle that failed to stop and render assistance
to Luke Ryan Shaw who suffered fatal injuries
as a result of a motor vehicle incident in Ninth
Street, Mildura, on 21 October 2005.
A reward of up to one hundred thousand
dollars ($100,000) will be paid at the discretion
of the Chief Commissioner of Police for
information leading to the apprehension and
conviction of the person or persons responsible
for the death of Luke Ryan Shaw.
The Director of Public Prosecutions will
consider, according to established guidelines, the
granting of indemnification from prosecution to
any person who provides information as to the
identity of the principal offender or offenders in
this matter.
Any information, which will be treated as
confidential, may be given at any time to Crime
Stoppers – Toll Free – 1800 333 000.
Any payment will be subject to the applicant
signing a deed of confidentiality prior to
payment.

BOROONDARA CITY COUNCIL
Road Discontinuance
Pursuant to section 206 and Schedule 10, Clause 3 of the Local Government Act 1989, the
Boroondara City Council has formed the opinion that the road at the rear of 5 and 7 Dryden Street
and 6 and 8 Maling Road, Canterbury, shown by hatching on the plan below, is not reasonably
required as a road for public use and resolved to discontinue the road and to sell the land from the
road by private treaty to the abutting property owners.
The road is to be sold subject to the right, power or interest held by Yarra Valley Water in the
road in connection with any sewers, drains or pipes, under the control of that authority in or near
the road.

Road Discontinuance
Pursuant to section 206 and Schedule 10, Clause 3 of the Local Government Act 1989, the
Chief Executive Officer of Greater Geelong City Council (Council), under powers delegated
by Council by resolution dated 12 February 2013, has formed the opinion that the unmade and
unnamed road located between 18 and 20 Fitzroy Street, Geelong 3220, shown by the hatching on
the diagram below, is not reasonably required for public use.

Road Discontinuance
Monash City Council, at its meeting on 27 January 2015 and acting under Clause 3 of
Schedule 10 to the Local Government Act 1989, resolved to discontinue the road abutting Lever
Street, Oakleigh, being part of the land remaining in Certificate of Title Volume 2012 Folio 338 and
delineated in thick continuous lines. Council, at its meeting on 31 March 2015, resolved to sell the
discontinued road to the adjoining owner.
The discontinued road is to be sold subject to any right, power or interest held by Yarra Valley

On the 18 November 2015, the Bass Coast
Shire Council (Council) made an Order under
section 26(2) of the Domestic Animals Act 1994
(Act) in relation to the control of dogs in areas
within Bass Coast Shire that from 1 January
2016 the following areas are Designated Dog
Off-Leash Areas:
Corinella beach 90 metres south of the
Beach Street access, south-east to O’Connor
Road ending before the access to the beach;
Coronet Bay beach 80 metres south of
Norsemens Road entrance towards Coronet
Bay township, ending in line with the end of
Kowloon Crescent;
Grantville beach 30 metres south of the
Swan Street beach access south towards the
boat ramp and ending at the Grantville Hall
beach access track;
Tenby Point beach 55 metres east of the
bottom of the access track to the Council
land boundary ending in line with the eastern
end of Marine Parade; and
Glen Forbes Recreation Reserve.
A dog may be exercised off a chain, cord
or leash in a Designated Dog Off-Leash Area
during the times allowed in that area if the
owner of the dog:
carries a chain, cord or leash;
has at all times effective voice control of
the dog and is able to place the dog under
effective control by means of chain, cord or
leash immediately if necessary;
does not allow the dog to attack a person or
animal or rush at a person; and
always keeps the dog in sight.
For the purposes of this Order:
‘owner’ has the same meaning as in the Act;
‘rush at’ has the same meaning as in the Act;
and
‘designated dog off-leash area’ means
any area or part of an area declared by a
resolution of Council and included in this
Order.

The City of Whittlesea Council has prepared
Amendment C175 to the Whittlesea Planning
Scheme.
The Amendment applies to multiple
properties within the historic Mernda Township,
the area generally bounded by the Mernda Rail
Reserve to the west, Bridge Inn Road to the
south, Hazel Glen Drive to the north and the
Plenty River to the east.
The proposed Amendment will rezone
land in the Mernda Township from Township

The Minister for Planning has approved Amendment C158 to the Whitehorse Planning Scheme.
The Amendment comes into operation on the date this notice is published in the Government
Gazette.
The Amendment applies Schedule 1 to the Parking Overlay to the Box Hill Activity Centre and
makes consequential changes to the Whitehorse Planning Scheme to implement the car parking
rates and other directions from the ‘Box Hill Area Car Parking Strategy 2013’.
The Amendment also corrects a mapping error identified post-gazettal of Amendment C159,
which corrected a number of errors and anomalies to the Whitehorse Planning Scheme. Specifically,
this Amendment removes the Heritage Overlay to land at 11 Shalimar Court, Vermont South.

The Governor in Council under sections 8B of the Control of Weapons Act 1990 exempts a
person who is of a class of person listed in Column 1 of the Table below from sections 5(1), 5(1A),
5AA and 8A of the Control of Weapons Act 1990 as those sections apply to bringing into Victoria,
causing to be brought into or sent into Victoria, possessing, carrying or using the items specified in
Column 2 of the Table, for the purpose listed in Column 3 of the Table.

(c) the person must not be subject to any limitation applied to their authorisation to act as police
custody officer by the Chief Commissioner of Police under section 200E of the Victoria
Police Act 2013 that would prevent them from bringing into Victoria, causing to be brought
into or sent into Victoria, possessing, carrying or using an item listed in Column 2 of the
Table above.
Commencement
This Order is effective from the date it is published in the Government Gazette.

MACEDON RANGES SUSTAINABILITY GROUP
Order in Council
The Governor in Council under section 17 of the Electricity Industry Act 2000 (the Act) makes
the following Order:
1.
Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group (ABN 81224510556) is exempt from the requirement
to obtain a licence to generate, distribute, supply or sell electricity under the Act. This Order
is subject to the following conditions:
a)
Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group may only supply and sell electricity to GRPP
Enterprises Pty Ltd (ABN 61932248609) at 988 Black Forest Drive, Woodend, VIC
3442.
b)
Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group must take no action which prevents GRPP
Enterprises Pty Ltd from purchasing electricity from any authorised or licensed
retailer of its choice.
c)
Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group must observe all applicable provisions of the
Energy Retail Code and the Electricity Distribution Code.
d)
Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group must provide (whether or not through an
agent), to the Minister or the Essential Services Commission, any information either
entity may reasonably require for the administration of this Order.
2.
This Order comes into effect from the date it is published in the Government Gazette.

Under section 220S(1)(a) of the Local Government Act 1989, this Order comes into operation
on the date it is published in the Government Gazette.
The change is to have effect for the purposes of the next general election of Greater Shepparton
City Council.
