Attaching a File from your SkyDrive to an Email
On your SkyDrive home screen…
1. Place a checkmark next to the file
you wish to attach to an email.
2. Click on Download from the side
menu that appears.
3. You will be prompted to either Open
or Save the file. Click Save.

4. Chose a location on your PC to which
you wish to save the file. In this
example, we are saving the file to
the Desktop.
5. Click on Save.
6. Once the download is complete, click
Close.

7. Return to the Hawkmail@Live home
screen (Outlook Live). You can do
this by clicking on the Monmouth
University by Windows Live link in
the upper left corner of the SkyDrive
window.
8. Click on New to start composing a
new email.
9. Click on the Attach File button.

10. Locate and select your saved file.
11. Click on Open.
Your file is now attached to your email.
