The candidates (graduated from any University recognized by the U.G.C.) desirous of seeking admission to the following
courses should apply online to the Registrar, Solapur University, Solapur from 09/05/2016 to 28/05/2016. However the last date
for the entrance Examinations scheduled on16 & 17 th June 2016 is upto 10/06/2016. Entrance examination fees of Rs.300/should be remitted online as per the instructions on the website. The prospectus may be downloaded from the University website

Candidates who wish to appear for more than one courses should pay Rs.150/- for each additional course. The students
from reserved category are eligible to avail freeships / scholarships offered by the Government of India and Government of
Maharashtra as per the norms.

Student desirous to seek admission to both the MCA and M.Sc. Computer Science course should like wise
remit an additional fees of Rs.150/-

The entrance exam for the M.C.A. and M.Sc. (Computer Science) courses will be the common.
7)
The syllabus for the entrance examination is given in the prospectus.
8)
Admission to the course shall be on 50% weightage for graduation level and 50% weightage for entrance
examination. However admission to MCA course shall be given on the basis of merit of entrance exam only.
9)
There will be 50 objective type questions carrying two marks each. The duration of examination will be one
hour. OMR type answer sheet will be provided. Use black ball- point pen only.
10)
Minimum marks in the examination for the eligibility is 40%. There will be 5% relaxation to the candidate
belonging to the reserve categories. (34 Marks.)
11) Reservation of seats shall be as per the norms of the Government.
12) Last date for receipt of duly filledin application forms is 28/05/2016. However, the last date for the Entrance
Examination schedule on 16 & 17th June is upto 10/06/2016.
13) Entrance examination fee is neither refundable nor transferable.
14) The admission committee’s decision shall be final.
15) There will no re-entrance examination for any course.
