Narks to be the basis for recommendation in, Superintendent
for the remi:1- len of a bny'e sentence.
Five marks will be riven each day--For Work,
" Conduct
" 3ohool
" Devotion
" Drill -
One park,
Reports may be marked Good, Pair, or Bad.
A penalty will be attached to all bad reports.
Boys mutt not obtain more than two fair reports during the
month, as three fair marks will count as one bad mark, thsreby
disqualifying the boy for having his name on the monthly
Honour Roll.
BAD REPORT.
1. Work may be reported Dad for laziness, uhirhing, forgetftlneee, or any neglect of duty etc.
2, Conduct may be reported Bad for lying, fioliting, bad
language, disrespect of authority, boisterous play, untidiness
using tobacco, bad names, etc.
3. School may be reported Bad for inattention, disobedienoe,
neglect of duty, talking, etc.
4. Devotion may be reported Bad for any irreverent conduct.
5. Drill may be reported Bad for talking, oarelessness,
inattention, or any misconduct in rank, etc.

1. Boys mast address all officials in a respectful manner.
E. All complaints must hr, made to the Superintendent.
3. All conversation among boys during working hours to be
in a low voice.
4. No talking during meals, bpi a quiet conversation allowed
at the table when all are through eating.
6. No loud talking allowed in the dormitories.
6. Boys will be held responsible for care of clothing, end
for keeping themselves clean and tidy.
7. The use of tobacco is absolutely forbidden.
S. Lying is strictly prohibited, and, if necessary, the
severest punishment will be inflicted for it.
9. No bad language Rill 1:),, tolerated in the building.
10. Fighting is prohibited; also all boisterous play.
11. No spitting allowed in the building.
12. Any boy who makes his escape, or attempts so to do, 7111,
when returned to the school, reoeive the number of lashes
determined by the Superintendent, together with a stated
number of meals of bread and water, and he will lose all good
marks, end will not be eligible for remission of sentence for
at least one year; and any boy who knows that another boy is
planning to escape must report the same at once to the Superintendent, or to the official who is in charge, otherwise he
will receive the same punishment as the boy who makes his
escape 7111 reoeive when recaptured.

PROVINCIAL INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL,

GOVIIRNING OFFICIALS.
1. All officials should work together harmoniously and with
a common object in view, viz.: to make the Institution efficient
in every particular, by precept and example to inculcate such
teachings as will lead the boys to take an altogether different
view of life, and lead them to become useful and honourable
eitisens.
2. All officials
are expected to be punctual.
3, No official shall absent
himself
without being
permitted to do so by the Superintendent.
4. soh
official must have his boys report promptly at the
call of the Snperintendent's bell.
6. No smoking, swearing, card-playing, or using intoxicating
liquors allowed in the building.
6. No official shall show partiality to any boy.
7.Should any boy misbehave, or refuse obedience, the
official inoharge of such boy will report him at the office,
and his punishment will be determined by the Superintendent.
8. Should a boy make his escape, the official in charge
will return his boys to the Assemblyroom, and report such
boy at the office immediately.
9. After being used all tools and apparatus must be returned
to thpir proper place.
10. All complaints must be made to the Superintendent.
