Friends
begin our Christmas vacation
with the new Star Wars movie.
We were then going to go to
Disneyland’s 60th Anniversary
where they were having part
of the park as “Season of the
Force” for the new movie.”
Anxiously waiting, the line
began to inch forward.
“It seemed like the line would
never end,” Carter said. ”The
wait was worth it as we piled
in the packed theatre to see
the movie.”
This movie truly brought
everything; old characters
mixed with the new directing,
amazing special effects and
all-around great family movie.
Star Wars is and forever
will be their favorite movie
franchise. They are already
looking forward to the next
movie.
Ice Skating
Entering the theater was a
feeling like no other. Popcorn
in their laps, ice cold cokes
at their sides, and being
surrounded by many other
fans was an unforgettable
experience for one specific
family.
As part of their Christmas
vacation, Carter Wheat [11],
Cade Wheat [9] and Collin
Wheat [3] were given the gift
of a lifetime. After waiting all
year, the night of December
18, 2015 couldn’t come quick
enough. Standing in line at

seem so bad since they
were waiting for the latest
installment of their favorite
series.
“I bought the tickets on
October 19, the first day they
went on sale,” mother Charlie
Kennington said. “I planned to

The family spent most of
their trip enjoying the rides
at Disneyland in Anaheim,
California. The park was given
a make over with the theme
as the newest Star Wars
movie premiere. Carter, Cade
and Collin Wheat spent
5 days of their Christmas
vacation watching Star Wars
and riding different rides
that promoted the movie.
“Disneyland was my favorite,”
Carter said. “Especially
Tomorrowland which was
decked out in Star Wars.”
Maddie Thomsett [12], Emma Wayt [9] and Grant Tornberg [9] enjoy
the lights and music as they celebrate the Christmas season together. The
students went to the Marshall Courthouse where they had a ice skating rink
set up. The school funded the trip for the students.
“I went down to my dad’s house. We had cake plus all the Christmas food. Being with my “I like Christmas because I get a lot of prizes and food. My favorite
