them with you on the weekend!
Tuesday is the Feast of All Saints Day and is a
Holy Day of Obligation. Masses will be celebrated at 7:30am and 7:00pm. Wednesday is the
Feast of All Soul’s Day. We will have a special
Mass at 6:00pm to remember those who were
buried from this Church this past year. We will
be ceremoniously reading their names at that
Mass. All are welcome to come and pray with the
community for those who have died.

What does it mean to embrace a
Simple Life?
A thought from Laura Ingalls Wilder; the world
is full of so many things, so many of them
useless. Many varieties of the same thing—
creating confusion and a feeling of being
overwhelmed. It would be a relief to eliminate
wisely and well, so that life might be simplified. Take a look around and see what you
could eliminate...
Does living simply mean going without? Of
course not. Being frugal is a good thing, but if
we take it to the extreme it becomes miserliness
and can become unhealthy. Being thoughtful
and careful with our spending is a good habit to
have, but if you become a “cheap-skate” you
have lost the point. Good becomes evil when
we become excessive. Moderation is the key to
finding balance and harmony in our lives.
