State Library Lectures
Have you previously been a member of U3A?
If so, in which year?
These are talks by invited speakers on a diverse
range of subjects, detailed in the Inform newsletter
and on our website. Lectures are normally held on a
Sunday afternoon and many members travel there
by train or bus, free of cost.
Member Participation
We encourage members with special interests or
knowledge to pass on that knowledge through
presentations. External guest speakers are also
invited. Other special interest groups are organised
by members.
The U3A ethos is ongoing learning
and sharing, with no distinction
between those who learn and those
who teach, in order to keep an active
mind and body.
