Making Waves Infinity Scarf
Thread an Icord or piece of
ribbon thru the
“waves” in one
row to gently
gather one side
of the
scarf/cowl for a
snugger fit.
3sks Miski Baby Llama (2 for just the cowl)
Notes: This pattern is completely reversible so for a scarf, I think it is
ideal. It’s gracefully wavy pattern gives lots of neat texture, but without bulk. In fact, if you really block this stitch out when done, it can be
quite lacy!
Using a provisional cast on, cast on 42 sts.
Work pattern for about 22” for a cowl, or for an infinity scarf, about
48-50” (as you prefer).
When fabric is desired length, remove provisional cast on and put
these stitches on a second needle (or the other end of your circular)
so that the needles are pointed in the same direction and your live
yarn is at the needle tip.
For a cowl, be sure there is no twist in the fabric and graft the live
stitches from both ends together.
For an infinity scarf, put a twist in the fabric before you graft the live
stitches from both ens together.
