Q: I’ve seen tickets advertised on other sites – can I still order from there?
A: We would strongly advise against using any sites other than those listed on our adverts and
websites. These are the only sites we can guarantee have 100% genuine tickets. Consider the
notes below before purchasing your tickets:
1.
Only buy from the outlets listed on the show advertising.
2.
Find out the face value of the tickets and how much you are paying in booking fees.
3.
Find out the location of your seats.
4.
Never buy from an agent who says the tickets will be available to collect outside the Box
Office.
Q: I live outside of the UK, will you mail my tickets to me?
A: Please see the standard conditions on the website you are booking your tickets with
Age Restrictions
Q: Are there any age restrictions?
A: Any age can attend. However in the reserved seats anyone 11 and under must be
accompanied by an adult over 18. On the standing pitch anyone 15 and under must be
accompanied by an adult over 18. Under 12s will not be allowed on the pitch. Generally we
would advise against bringing children aged 5 or under to a large scale concert such as this
Customers at the Manchester show should note that under 5s are not permitted to attend
concerts at Etihad Stadium.
Q: How many children under 16 can I accompany?
A: One adult can accompany up to 7 children, however this is a matter you should pay careful
attention to, depending on the age and needs of the children involved.
Q: Pitch standing is only available to people aged 12 and over. Is that at the time of the
concert or when I buy my ticket?
A: It is at the time of the concert. So if you are 11 when the concert is announced you will be 12
when the concert happens so you can buy a standing ticket.
Q: Can I bring my one year old baby without a ticket?
A: No, every person needs a ticket and we would strongly advise against under 5s attending.
Customers at the Manchester show should note that under 5s are not permitted to attend
concerts at Etihad Stadium.
Timings
Q: What are the opening times of the Stadium on the day?
A: 5pm
Q: What time will the concert start?
A: The first act will be on at around 6pm
Q: What time will One Direction be on stage?
A: Approximately 8pm
Disabled
Q: If I am a disabled person what is the best way for me to make a booking?
A: Please contact the venue for details of how to make a booking. This will be via a separate
telephone line or email address. Please note that you will be asked for proof of disability within
7 days of the booking. If this is not provided, the booking will be released.
Q: I am a wheelchair user and would like to attend. Will there be a designated area for
wheelchair users at the concert?
A. Yes, all venues will have a designated Wheelchair Viewing area and accessible facilities for
your use.
Q: My circumstances have changed since I purchased my ticket and I am now a wheelchair
user. What should I do?
A: Please contact the venue. Please note that there is a fixed capacity for the Wheelchair areas
and there is nothing we can do if this has sold out
Stadium Facilities
Q: Will I be able to purchase food and drink in the stadium during the concert?
A: Yes, there will be a wide range of food and beverages available to buy. Alcohol will be
available at some bars for adults aged 18 and over to buy, however you will be required to
provide photo identification as proof of age
Q: Can I purchase official One Direction merchandise at the concert?
A: Yes, there will be a number of merchandise outlets located around the venue. We would
advise against purchasing any unofficial merchandise outside the stadium.
Q: Can I bring my own food and drinks into the Stadium?
A: No. If any customers suffer from a condition that may require specific dietary requirements,
please contact the venue prior to arrival to ensure there are no problems bringing those
products in as otherwise they will be confiscated on entry.
Q: Will there be drinking water available?
A: Yes, drinking water fountains will be available at various points around the stadium.
Q: What if I or one of my guests feel unwell or have an accident?
A: The stadium will have trained medical staff on duty, please approach a steward who will
direct you to the nearest first aid/medic point
Q: Is the stadium a non-smoking venue?
A: Yes, smoking is not permitted at any venue
Q: My child has an illness, will there be facilities to keep his/her medicine?
A: No, this would need to be kept on the person at all times.
Q: Will there be a lost and found area?
A: There will be several meeting points around the stadium designated by signs reading
‘meeting point’. Please speak to your nearest steward who will assist.
Q: Where are the First aid areas?
A: There will be a First Aid area located on every level of the stadium (including the pitch).
These will be clearly signposted and all stewards will be able to direct patrons to the nearest
medical staff

Q: Will there be any facility for me/my child to queue early at the venue?
A: Appropriate facility will be provided for those arriving early though we would advise against
queuing overnight for safety and security reasons. Early queuing areas will be detailed on venue

Q: What happens if it rains, can I bring an umbrella?
A: Unfortunately, umbrellas are on the prohibited items list so are not permitted in the
stadium. In the event of adverse weather conditions we would advise bringing a rain mac or
disposable rain coat.
Prohibited Items:
Any article that might be used as a weapon, any person deemed to be offensive or abusive, or
who may compromise public safety, will be reported to the police.
Flag poles and flares. Bottles, glass vessels, cans, flasks.
Frisbees and similar items, dangerous or hazardous items, illegal substances, scooters,
skateboards or other skates. Laser devices, prams / push chairs, inflatable and folding chairs,
professional cameras & recording devices (This applies to cameras that have interchangeable
lenses), large suitcases, lap tops, illegal merchandise items, umbrellas, hampers and cold boxes,
air horns, alcohol and animals (except service dogs & guide dogs).
Q: Where will the stage be within the Stadium?
A: Please refer to the map on your ticket agent’s website. The main stage will be at one end of
the stadium with a B stage in the middle of the pitch.
Q: I have a standing ticket, can I stand anywhere on the pitch?
A: The floor will be split into 4 quadrants. Customers will be allocated a wristband to access a
particular zone. Zone allocation will be at the time of ticket purchase and location will be venue
dependent
Q: I am pregnant and have a standing ticket, will I be able to have a seat?
A: Please contact the venue prior to arriving to find out if there are seats still available and if it
is possible to relocate. All reserved seating may be sold out.
Q: My circumstances have changed since I purchased my ticket and I am now pregnant, what
should I do?
A: Whilst agents may try to exchange your ticket for a seated area, please note this may not be
possible if all reserved seating has sold out. Please contact the venue prior to arriving to find
out if there are seats still available and if it’s possible to relocate. We cannot give you access to
any disabled area as this is only for registered disabled customers.
Q: Where can I drop off and pick up my child from?
A: A designated parent collection location will be made available within each stadium site,
please check back for updates relating to the venue you are attending.
Q: Will my child be safe on his/her own?
A: In the reserved seats any child aged 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult over 18.
On the standing pitch anyone aged 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult over 18
Q: Who are the support acts for One Direction?
A: Support acts are still to be confirmed, please check back for updates
Q: Can I take photographs at the concert?
A: Yes, small digital cameras are permitted. Please note that any camera with a long or
detachable lens will be classified as a professional camera and these are not permitted. Video
cameras are also prohibited. Please see terms and conditions when purchasing your tickets
Q: Can I bring posters/banners to the concert
A: Flag poles or sticks for banners are prohibited. Whilst banners themselves are not
prohibited, please always be aware of other customers as potentially you may be blocking their
view.

There will be no parking available in the areas in the immediate vicinity around the Stadium of
Light as the roads will be closed around the stadium to ensure the area is safe for concert goers.
Disabled parking will be available to wheelchair patrons only who present a valid wheelchair
platform ticket and car park pass for the red car park (this pass will be included with your
tickets). The location is in front of main west stand of stadium, near to turnstile 62A which is
disabled entry point.

MANCHESTER ETIHAD STADIUM:

Parking is available on site at the stadium. Fans will be directed to the Blue Car Parks which can
be accessed via gate 2 from Alan Turing Way. Parking costs £10 for cars and £20 for minibuses
(per day). Accessible parking is provided for disabled customers. This is not included with your
ticket. All car parks are pay on the day only, advance bookings are not available.
All prices quoted here are subject to change and any changes to the pricing will be advertised
on event day. Timings for access to the car park will be announced closer to the show day please check back at www.mcfc.co.uk/events.
There are a number of satellite car parks around the stadium with prices displayed upon entry.
The Club does not endorse these car parks. If using these car parks, please take note of your
surroundings in order to easily find the car park when you return in the dark. Please allow
plenty of time to park and get to the stadium.
Please note: a road closure operates immediately after the event to allow pedestrians to leave
safely. This will affect all local car parks and will cause delays.
A residents’ parking scheme is in place in the streets around the Etihad Stadium and this is
strictly enforced and identified through on-street signage. Please do not park in these areas as
you will be fined and your vehicle may be clamped or removed.
Please respect the needs of local residents. Parking at ASDA adjacent to the stadium is reserved
for store customers only. Penalties will be imposed for misuse of this car park.

Very limited on-street parking is available in the areas surrounding the stadium, however,
please be aware of the temporary traffic restrictions in place.
Disabled parking will be available to wheelchair patrons only who present a valid wheelchair
platform ticket and car park pass for the red car park (this pass will be included with your
tickets). This is located in close proximity to the stadium.

There is an area in the immediate area available for designated coach parking, permits for
coaches for this area must be purchased from the club in advance and are on a first come basis
at £30 each.

You can pre-book coach parking up to a week before the event by calling the Customer Services

must be pre-booked in advance.

Coach and minibus parking is not available at Murrayfield Stadium.
Coaches and minibuses are now directed to parking areas along the A8 Corstorphine Road. All
coach and minibus drivers should approach Murrayfield from the A8 Corstorphine Road or A71
Calder Road where you will be directed to park by police officers.
It is vital that drivers co-operate and follow instructions and directions to ensure maximum
capacity. The first vehicles to arrive will be parked nearest to the stadium.
