Department of Political Science and International Relations Thomas Sattler Associate Professor Geneva, 10 March 2017 We are looking for a research assistant (100 hours, with possibility of extension) for the research project “Contingent Signals: The Political Preconditions for Successful Economic Stabilization” at the Département de Science Politique / Université de Genève. The project examines the politics of financial crises and austerity in Europe. The research assistant will help in preparing data on legislative speeches from Greece. The task will require 50 hours of work (e.g. roughly 8 hours per week for 3 months) with the possibility of extension depending on the researcher's willingness and on how the project progresses. The research assistant will be responsible for reading legislative speeches in Greek and verifying their accuracy and cohesion. They will also help with the coding of the speeches.
