A resident fee of $10.00 a month or a non-resident fee of $30.00 a month is charged. The hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. IN PERSON REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. EDISON FLIPPING OVER ACROBATIC GYMNASTICS —Acrobatics is a sport with beauty and art and a combination of gymnastics, choreography and fitness. It emphasizes mind and body in harmony with peace. By doing Taiji, the practitioners achieve internal strength and external beauty. Taiji quan is called “moving meditation” which is mostly the mental activity paying attention to the internal feeling to make sure that Qi flows smoothly, fluidly and reaches all parts of the body. As a martial art, Taiji quan builds up firm rooting and develops sharp awareness. The program will be held on Saturdays at the Stelton Community Center.
