Dear Parents/Carers,
We would like to give you our sincere thanks for your overwhelming response to hosting during this year’s
Spanish Exchange. We have had a record thirty responses and we cannot thank you enough!
This year’s Year 6 exchange will take place between:
Tuesday 13th June – Tuesday 20th June 2017
Traditionally, as when we go to Spain, the visiting children are put into pairs and are placed with a family for the
duration of the week. This year, we are expecting 34 Spanish children and 4 teachers. This would normally
mean we only need 17 host families. As you can see, we have far too many hosts, which is a great testament to
the exchange as well as your support and generosity!
In order to come to a solution, I would like to check that all thirty families definitely want to host? Please let me
know via email ([email protected]) as soon as possible. In the meantime, I have contacted Chus at
Humberto Juanes to discuss our options for this number of families to host. I will let you know the outcome as
soon as I have it. I do not wish to exclude any family wishing to host/be involved with this year’s exchange.
However, if your name is not listed below, that is to say that you had not previously returned the host slip,
please accept my apologies as you have missed the opportunity this time.
