Project based camp that exposes children to a variety of materials in this popular
mixed media camp. Students will be exposed to media; such drawing, painting,
collage and sculpture. The curriculum is different every week, enriched by various

NATURE & ART CAMP
Artists will observe and collect natural objects from the park. Artists will use the
objects as inspiration to draw, paint or sculpt. Camp focusses on exploring the
natural world around us to create eco-friendly art. Note: Children must be 5 years
old before camp begins. Minimum of 5 students to run the camp.

What makes a person a hero or a villain? Whether historical or a modern day, the artist will be able to construct a project the represents that character. CARTOONING
Do you have an interest in cartooning? Well then this is the class for you! The projects in this class will draw
upon things in popular culture and comics. Not only will these students be making their own unique cartoon

We’ll learn how to create fashionable accessories like friendship bracelets, tie dye bandana’s and a unique

Students will develop drawing skills with an emphasis on figural proportion and gesture. Using a broad range
of media, students will draw from photographs and live models to communicate design concepts covering a
variety of clothing styles. We will also spend some time creating our own accessories using fabric,appliqués
and other methods. Note: Children must be 8 yrs old at the start of the camp. Minimum of 5 students to run the

Spend those lazy days of summer outside. Join us for this camp that takes place entirely outdoors (weather
permitting). Camp will start at Brickton but will spend most of the time creating artwork inspired by the landscape and nature. We’ll use easels or drawing boards as we draw and paint the world around us. Please bring
a water bottle and wear sunscreen. Note: Children must be 8 yrs old at the start of the camp. Minimum of 5 students to run this camp. Date

CLASS REFUND AND CREDIT POLICY
All Refund requests should be directed to Brickton via email, in person or over the
phone. If class is cancelled, or schedule of class is changed & student can longer
attend; BAC will fully refund the tuition of that class. If a student withdraws from a
course anytime between the 1st and 4th class BAC will retain tuition for classes attended but will refund the rest. Not attending a class does NOT constitute an official withdrawal from the course
or cancellation of tuition and fees. Makeup classes are handled on an individual
basis. Brickton staff will attempt to accommodate missed classes but there is no
guarantee. Requests made within 10 business days after the last class meeting
will be refunded. Your account will be credited in the manner it was received;
credited online or check made payable to original payee (for cash payment or
credit card transactions within the center). Checks will be made payable to the
original payee and mailed within 15 days.
