Journal titled “Peter Stuyvesant vs. the Quakers”. Using the historical
example set by the Quakers when they wrote the “Remonstrance of
the Inhabitants of the Town of Flushing” identify a social, political or
economic remonstrance that has taken place anytime in the United
States. Make sure to explain the problem, discuss the argument and
point-of-view of the remonstrators, describe how they remonstrated,
and the eventual outcome of their protest. What significant change in
the United States occurred as a result of their protest?
