Oozing refinement and elegance, the Suites are a masterpiece of Turkish design and homely touches, adorned with antique glass chandeliers, silk drapes
and hand-painted ceilings. Over sixty original paintings feature alongside exquisite objets d’art and textiles handcrafted by ARMAGGAN’s expert artisans
in the company’s Istanbul ateliers. Cosy nooks, ‘sedir’ window seats and Bosporus - view balconies lend themselves to easy conversations and lazy
afternoons.
Named after some of the many towns connected to the Bosporus, individual Suites overlook the waterway or the picturesque stone rooftops of the
surrounding cityscape.
Originally the residence of Anatolia’s Governor General, Beylerbeyi Palace was rebuilt as a summer residence for Sultan Abdülaziz on the Bosporus’ Asian
shore in 1860’s by renowned Ottoman architect Sarkis Balyan. So proud was Balyan of his palatial creation that he built his own yali on the European
shore from which to cherish
it. His restored yali is now part of the Armaggan Bosporus Suites.Beneath the ever-changing colors of the Bosporus Bridge, Armaggan Bosporus Suites
retai their unique standing on the strait.
