“The Tammany Regiment: A History of the Forty-second New York
Volunteer Infantry 1861-1864"
Over twenty years of research has gone into detailing the activities of this Second Corps unit that was
brigaded with the 19th and 20th Massachusetts Infantry regiments throughout the Civil War seeing action at
Ball’s Bluff, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, Spotsylvania, Cold Harbor and
numerous other battles. One company of the Tammany Regiment was recruited in Boston.
Tickets are $25.00 per person and must be
purchased no later than February 12th, 2016
