Join the National Cyber Arena in Be’er Sheva and Enjoy Grants A major benefit at the National Cyber Arena The National Cyber Bureau invites companies that employ, or are considering employing, staff in the field of cyber security, at the National Cyber Arena in Be’er Sheva, to submit a request to examine their eligibility for the benefit. In accordance with the Government Resolution from September 2015, this benefit will be provided as a grant of up to 20% of the employees’ salaries. The goal: To create a critical mass of cyber security industry that will integrate in the local business environment, become a source of strength for all its members, and the basis for the development and long-term global leadership in this field. Who is eligible for the grant? The benefit will be given to a corporation, including a partnership, conducting activity in the field of cyber security at the National Cyber Arena in Be'er Sheva. The grant will be given for employees who fulfill these two conditions: • At least 60% of their working hours are carried out at the National Cyber Arena • At least 80% of their working hours are in cyber activity The company will not be entitled to a benefit for the following employees: • Employees for whom the company already receives other benefits from the government or other institutions budgeted by the government • Employees employed directly, or through a subcontractor, as part of an agreement with the State requiring them to work at the National Cyber Arena The benefit: a grant of up to 20% of employees’ salaries! For the first three years the cyber companies will enjoy a grant of 20% of the salary they pay their employees, as well as various grants in the next four years. Owners of Intellectual Property? You’re eligible to an additional increase of the Grant! Additional benefits will be given to companies that will keep their intellectual property in Israel: • For intellectual property stemming from cyber activity in Israel, the corporation will be entitled to an additional benefit of 5% per year. • Transfer to Israel of intellectual property held abroad will increase the bonus by 10% more each year Check if you qualify for the benefit: A corporation that maintains cyber activity Cyber activity takes place at the National Cyber Arena in Be’er Sheva The company employs cyber employees Cyber employees working at least at 50% employment capacity. This restriction will not apply to employees who are students The corporation pays rent which does not exceed the maximum rate of rent at the National Cyber Arena Review of applications Benefit requests will be reviewed by a dedicated committee, and will be approved in accordance with the Government Resolution with the rules prescribed in the implementation protocol.
