Therefore, TIME newsmagazine and Reader’s Digest will be picked up to serve as our reading materials. During this semester, either by means of etymological research or contextual analysis, some tips of efficiently guessing the rough meanings of the words that have been vexing you will be introduced. Besides, the multifarious resources of the SALL will be well capitalized on to help you to conquer GRE. 使用外語自學室的資源(Resources): TIME newsmagazine, Reader’s Digest, and some textbooks for TOEFL 活動方式: Each week, the group leader (Elvis Yang) gives each of the members GRE vocabulary and lets all the members make their own handouts to present these words. When the presenter presents the vocabulary, the other members should discuss the words by means of question-raising, paraphrasing, and comparing the synonyms and antonyms instead of sitting there without doing anything. If necessary, the group leader will add, or even supplement the extra information that the presenter might ignore. The basic interactive way is through discussion, analysis and comparison to understand the relevance of GRE vocabulary. 92-2 本資料由楊禮旗小組長彙整提供 東吳大學語言中心 第四期外語自學小組學習計畫書 小組自學計畫(Learning Agenda): Time Presenter Topic/ The words for the week March MC: Elvis Yang (1.)
